I help industrial teams identify major accident hazards, assess risk and turn safety recommendations into practical actions.I am a Process Safety Consultant and the founder of SPS — Safe Process Solutions. My background includes more than 10 years in oil and gas, with experience across engineering, construction, commissioning, start-up, and operations.My strongest contribution is connecting risk studies with what happens in the field: how equipment operates, how safeguards perform, and what teams need to implement recommendations.Through SPS, I offer support in three core areas:• Process Safety: HAZID, HAZOP, Bowtie, PSM reviews, Management of Change, and Pre-Start-up Safety Reviews.• Functional Safety & Barrier Assurance: LOPA, SIL assessment support, safety-critical equipment reviews, and verification of ESD and Fire & Gas systems.• Risk Engineering & Fire Protection: QRA and consequence-modelling support, fire and explosion risk assessment, and fire-protection system reviews.My hands-on experience includes commissioning and start-up safety for gas-processing facilities, gas turbine generators and compressors; SIMOPS coordination; safety-action follow-up; incident investigation; and inspection and testing of emergency shutdown, detection and firefighting systems.I am a TÜV SÜD-certified PHA/HAZOP Leader and hold the NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management, supported by petrochemical engineering education and specialist HSE training.I also deliver technical training, helping engineers and operating teams understand major hazards, challenge assumptions, and apply process safety principles to real operating situations.SPS is being developed to support oil and gas, chemical, and manufacturing businesses with practical process safety consulting and training.Need support with a hazard study, safety review, commissioning challenge or technical training?Message me here on LinkedIn to discuss your project, scope and required deliverables.
