About
Medicine is about to change faster than at any point in my lifetime. I intend to help it change well.I work where artificial intelligence meets clinical care, public health, and global health security. My question is simple. How do we turn what AI can do into what patients, clinicians, and health systems actually need?I bring a practitioner's lens to that question. I am a Foreign Service Medical Provider with the U.S. Department of State. I have practiced medicine in combat zones, at the White House, at NIH, and in austere posts where the nearest specialist is a flight away. That experience shapes how I see AI. The hardest test for any model is a clinic with limited staff, unstable connectivity, and no margin for error. My focus areas:• Clinical decision support for resource-constrained settings• Predictive analytics for medical logistics and readiness• AI governance, accountability, and patient safety• Preparing clinicians to lead AI adoptionI am completing a Master's in AI Management at Georgetown University. I completed Harvard Medical School's executive program, AI in Health Care: From Strategies to Implementation (2026). I am also a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School's Senior Executive Fellows Program. The foundation: 21-year Army combat veteran. White House Medical Officer (2018–2022). Tillman Scholar. Presidential Service Badge. Order of Military Medical Merit. Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health.I grew up a latchkey kid in Atlanta, wearing my house key around my neck. I know what access means. AI can widen the gap in care or close it. I plan to spend the next decade closing it.If you build, regulate, study, or deploy AI in health, let's talk.Disclaimer: The opinions expressed are mine alone, apolitical, and do not represent the views of the United States Government, the U.S. Department of State, or the Bureau of Medical Services.
