Hi, I’m Emmanuel. I’ve always believed that food is one of the most powerful ways we care for ourselves and connect with others.I was born in Belgium and built my life in Singapore. Over the years, my work as a chef has been shaped by French roots, Japanese precision, and Southeast Asian soul. Through my restaurants, Saint Pierre and Shoukouwa, I’ve been fortunate to be recognised with Michelin stars, but more importantly, to create spaces where people can experience food with meaning.Over time, my perspective has evolved beyond the plate. Today, I think a lot about how food shapes the way you live. Not just in terms of taste, but your energy, your health, and your overall well-being. As a vegetarian and long-time practitioner of yoga, I try to approach food as something that nourishes both body and mind.I’m also a father and a mentor. In the kitchen and at home, I see how much the next generation is shaped by what we pass on. Not just skills, but values, habits, and curiosity. That, to me, is the real legacy.These days, I share more about food systems, wellness, and leadership. My aim is simple.
