I help in-house teams handle complex litigation by combining clear writing, sharp strategy, and industry experience to move cases toward resolution. Don’t have in-house counsel? I serve as a fractional general counsel—providing practical, business-minded support on contract review and negotiation, risk management, and day-to-day legal questions. I also serve as local counsel to out-of-state law firms, am admitted in every federal court in Florida, and have experience in proceedings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings. Before joining Nelson Mullins, I clerked for judges on the Florida First District Court of Appeal and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. That experience taught me how judges think—and what winning briefs look like. Earlier in my career, I supervised insurance claims at GEICO, which gave me a firsthand view of how risk is evaluated and what actually moves the needle in settlement negotiations. Today, I’m an attorney at Nelson Mullins and serve on the Board of Trustees at Florida Polytechnic University, Florida’s only public STEM university. I also speak regularly on legal writing and professional development. And most importantly, I’m a husband and a father of four. I show up every day to be the kind of advocate my clients can trust and the kind of professional my kids can be proud of.
