About

Legal organisations don’t need more AI hype. They need practical guidance on how to adopt AI well. I’m the Founder and CEO of BetterWiser, where we help law firms and legal teams thrive in the AI era through training, consulting and AI governance. After 18 years as a technology lawyer, including regional leadership roles at Amazon, AWS and PayPal, I’ve seen how new technologies succeed. The technology matters, but people, leadership and execution matter more. Today, my work focuses on two areas. Training I design and deliver practical AI programmes for lawyers, legal teams and executives. My workshops move beyond demonstrations. Participants learn how to use AI confidently, responsibly and effectively in their day-to-day work. Consulting I advise law firms and legal departments on AI adoption, governance and organisational change. This includes AI readiness assessments, technology selection, pilot programmes, governance frameworks, change management and leadership advisory. Our philosophy is simple. Technology alone does not transform organisations. People do. That’s why BetterWiser combines legal expertise, practical AI knowledge and structured change management to help organisations achieve responsible adoption that lasts. We are independent and vendor-neutral. We work across leading legal AI platforms and partner with technology providers where appropriate, while remaining focused on helping clients make the right decisions for their organisation. Whether your organisation is exploring AI for the first time or scaling adoption across the business, we can help you build the skills, governance and confidence to succeed. 📩
