I double hat as AirAsia’s Chief Sustainability Officer and Executive Director of AirAsia Foundation. My career in aviation began as AirAsia’s first Strategic Planner where I helped drive the airline’s expansion across ASEAN and China, before embarking on my dream adventure to reshape how businesses contribute to society. Through AirAsia Foundation, I leveraged the airline’s resources to provide social entrepreneurs across the region with seed funding, mentorship and market access. I also spearheaded a training programme to combat human trafficking on airlines and raised over US$4 million for post-disaster rebuilding efforts. Now, in guiding AirAsia’s sustainability strategy, I combine my aviation expertise and social impact background to address two of the sector’s biggest challenges: climate action and diversity.
