About
Electrify Everything! (Whakahiko te ao) I’m currently the Chief Executive of Rewiring Aotearoa, a non-profit dedicated to accelerating emissions reductions and increasing our prosperity through electrification of our 10 million machines. It all started after we electrified 21 machines on farm to create the world’s first fully electric cherry orchard under the brand Electric Cherries. We save upwards of $50k in energy costs running our electric tractor, electric frost fighting, electric orchard vehicles, electric irrigation… you get the idea! Before moving into horticulture and electrification, I co-founded GradConnection, a graduate recruitment platform serving Australia, NZ, Hong Kong and Singapore. GradConnection was acquired by Seek in 2019. I also founded Fishburners, a tech-focused co-working charity in Sydney that became home to over 100 startups. I continue to support the tech and clean energy ecosystem as: • An investor @ Motion Capital • An investor @ Blackbird Ventures • Occasional seed investor
