About

Every day is a blessing. I’m a writer, author, speaker, content marketer & founder of CulturalPulse - a digital multicultural insights & marketing agency. I practice gratitude every day. The things I love...... ✎ Marketing: As founder & Chief Creative Officer for award winning agency CulturalPulse, my job is to create stories/campaigns that build an emotional connection in first language – the language of persuasion. With my awesome team, we use the power of story to connect organisations with 'the other half' - over 120 untapped, diverse, high growth multicultural communities. ✎ Storytelling: My stories have appeared in The Guardian Australia, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Daily Telegraph, The Australian Financial Review & The Australian. Some of my work: https://www.theguardian.com/profile/patrick-skene ✎ Author: I am the proud author of ‘The Big O – the Life and Times of Olsen Filipaina’. https://www.booktopia.com.au/the-big-o-patrick-skene/book/.html My second book is 'Celestial Footy - the story of Chinese heritage Aussie Rules' www.celestialfooty.com.au ✎ My LinkedIn philosophy: Most days I post stories of resilience, inspiration, underdogs, positivity, inclusion, sportsmanship, comedy and excellence. Forgotten stories that should be surfaced. I find Earth & all its Earthlings endlessly fascinating. Negativity and cynics are most unwelcome and will be removed from the gallery. -- 💡 Agency: www.culturalpulse.com.au I’m always up for meeting & learning from interesting people and hearing their stories.
