Priya is the Non-executive Director at Vedanta, world's leading natural resources company and she is chairperson of Hindustan Zinc Limited - one of the Vedanta group companies. She has been a key pillar in strengthening ESG and HR practices in the organization and has played a valuable role in Vedanta's brand story. Her love for animals and passion to bring a change in the society has driven her to lead a variety of CSR initiatives which has touched thousands of lives. Priya has experience in Public Relations with Ogilvy & Mather and in Rediffusion Y&R. She is also the founder of YODA and TACO - animal welfare organisation. Priya is passionate about animals, child nutrition and gender neutrality. She is currently working on providing equal opportunities to women and children in rural India at grassroots level.
