Rhonda currently serves on the boards of Workday, Opportunity@Work and the BetterUp Advisory Council. She writes the LinkedIn "Connections" newsletter, a quarterly "People + Life" column for the Society for Human Resources "People + Strategy" journal and the "Leading in the B-Suite" interview series with Adam Bryant.During her tenure as Chevron Corporation’s Vice President & CHRO, Rhonda was committed to creating a work environment that ensured Chevron employees were equipped to solve the world’s complex energy challenges and learn, grow, develop, and give back to the communities where they work and live. Since her appointment in 2016, Rhonda led Chevron’s people and culture strategy, including executive succession, learning and talent, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, and total rewards. Rhonda tirelessly advocated for Chevron’s people, spearheading a complex HR digital transformation to unify multiple ERP systems, championing diversity and inclusion efforts, and expanding employee benefits and mental well-being resources. With more than 31 years of global business acumen, HR functional expertise, and C-suite leadership, Rhonda has held roles in human resources, global marketing, and international products. Rhonda is a native Californian and believes deeply in volunteerism and giving back.
