About

As the Group Chief Executive Officer of MyGrowthFund Venture Partners for over 9 years, I have led a team of experienced institutional investors who back extraordinary African founders with growth capital and expertise. We are the winners of the Best Impact Investment Firm 2020 - Africa, at the Worldwide Finance Awards in London, UK. Our mission is to build 300 sustainable businesses, create 100,000 decent jobs, and invest in 100 high-growth ventures by 2030. I have addressed audiences at Harvard University, Cambridge University & Oxford University, amongst others. I participated in a debate at the Oxford Union and addressed the House of Lords, the World Bank, and the African Union. I have published several scholarly articles and thought leadership pieces featured in international business journals, and my books have sold over 500,000 copies. With an Executive MBA, a Corporate Finance certificate in Advanced Valuation Techniques, a Management Advanced Program certificate, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, I have a strong academic background that complements my practical experience in venture capital, new business development, strategy, and customer relationship management. I am also a global speaker, author, and public-speaking world championship finalist who has spoken to presidents, parliaments, CEOs, and leaders of society, sharing my insights on business leadership and innovation. I have a strong personal brand grounded in accomplishments, am one of the most-followed Africans on LinkedIn, and have been featured in LinkedIn Top Voices for several years.
