I’m a Christian, a husband and father of five, and an appellate attorney. So I love talking about my faith, my family, and my affinity for Century Schoolbook. On LinkedIn, I mainly write about legal writing under my Brief-Writing Ninja pseudonym, a moniker I picked up from an opposing counsel early in my career. When law firms started reaching out asking if I’d train their litigators to write better briefs, I founded Brief-Writing Ninja, LLC. In my day job, I litigate constitutional appeals in state and federal courts across the country, including at the U.S. Supreme Court, federal circuit courts of appeals, and state supreme courts.In the past year, I’ve started using AI more and more in my practice.
