I am an organizational psychologist turned CHRO turned Chief HR Scientist. I have led HR in the boardroom, advised organizations across Africa, Europe, and the US, and spent almost two decades working on the gap between what HR knows and what HR actually does.At AIHR, I work at the intersection of science, practice, and the future of the profession. My focus is HR strategy, HR operating models, organizational design, and how AI is changing HR and the way work gets done. I research how organizations work, advise global companies on HR transformation, and build practical frameworks HR leaders can use. I write, speak at conferences globally, and host The HR Dialogues podcast to advance a higher standard of evidence-based people practice.Before AIHR, I was Group CHRO at Momentum Metropolitan. I was named CHRO of the Year by the CHRO Society of South Africa (2021) and Practitioner of the Year by the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology of South Africa (2018).I have written three books with Springer: Work for Humans: Building Sustainable Employee Experience Strategies (2025), Organisational Identity: A Critical Reflection on the Theory, and Moulding a Durable Organisational Identity: A Practice Guide. I have worked with organizations such as the United Nations, H&M, Greenpeace, Schneider Electric, Stanford University, and Deutsche Telekom, and spoken at SHRM, ATD, and HR Tech Europe.
