I am a trademark attorney and founder of Gerben Perrott PLLC. In 2008, during the height of the Great Recession, I opened the firm with the goal of providing high-quality but reasonably priced trademark services. Over the last 18 years, the firm has grown and now manages 11,000+ trademark registrations for clients in 30+ countries. From a litigation perspective, Gerben Perrott PLLC has settled 1,500+ trademark disputes in the past 18 years without the need for significant litigation. This is a testament to our business-first approach to trademark enforcement. That said, when the time comes, we are prepared to litigate cases and have extensive experience in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) cases as well as in Federal Court. Prior to opening the firm, I worked in a small but growing family business. I rely on this experience daily to understand the business realities clients face. It allows me to focus on developing legal solutions that make business sense.I routinely analyze trademark stories for national news media. My work is often featured in CNN, ESPN, WSJ, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and other national outlets. On the personal side, I am a native of Philadelphia. My wife and I have four children who are 13, 11, 8, and 4.
