I've had a thoroughly enjoyable squiggly career to date. I spent nearly a decade in advertising sales at brands like Sky and Netmums, before making the move client-side at companies such as Benefit Cosmetics and MADE, where I learnt then led social and influencer marketing. My career took an unexpected turn when I began sharing my experiences navigating the job market in 2023. What started as personal reflections quickly resonated, and I’ve since grown a community of over 85,000 followers both here & on TikTok. Named as a "changemaker" by Marketing Week, I’m passionate about advocating for better hiring practices and salary transparency in the marketing industry. Alongside content creation, I also work as a brand consultant; guiding lifestyle and retail brands through a range of social projects spanning strategy, resourcing, implementation, and creative output.
